About the Inland Empire Disabilities Collaborative

Our Mission

To Promote Equal Opportunity, Universal Access, and Full Participation of People With Disabilities In All Aspects of Life.

Launched as a networking tool, the Collaborative brings together over 900 service providers from regional organizations that serve people with disabilities and seniors. The Inland Empire Health Plan (IEHP) led the way in the creation of this unique initiative in February of 2006. In March of 2010, Rolling Start, Inc, became the fiscal sponsor (nonprofit, 501c3, organization) for the collaborative.

At the completion of each IEDC meeting I leave with a wealth of knowledge that I gain from your professional guest speakers and the different organizations that attend the meetings. The information I receive from the IEDC meetings is vital in my planning efforts for at-risk populations during emergent events and public health disasters. I truly appreciate all those that have dedicated their time and efforts to coordinating the IEDC meetings. These meetings really make a difference in the lives of those at-risk populations in the Inland Empire.

Thank you,

James Atkins
