The Inland Empire Disability Resources Expo

The Inland Empire Disability Resources Expo showcases services and products that enhance independent living for people of all types of disabilities: physical, cognitive, mental and sensory. The event brings together exhibits on health, housing, transportation, advocacy, employment, assistive technology, education, youth and senior initiatives. It is offered free of charge to the community!

The Expo will be held on SEPTEMBER 13, 2014 from 9am to 2pm at the Riverside Convention Center. Over 200 exhibitors will share their resources and 2,000+ people will be in attendance. Attendees will have an opportunity to gain information about programs, services and products that assist persons with disabilities and seniors in the Inland Empire live more independently.

Aging Well with a Disability Conference 2013

Hilton Hotel, 285 E. Hospitality Lane, San Bernardino, CA

Workshops on:
Health - Education - Technology - Emergency Preparedness - Recreation/Social - Advocacy - Employment

Over 350 professionals attended the 2013 IEDC Conference: Aging Well with a Disability. The Keynote Speaker, Gary Karp, a forty-year wheelchair user, and a very skilled and natural speaker discussed the disability experience about real people who are able to live very full lives in our dramatically changed world. Attendees had a wide selection of over 15 presentations to choose from throughout the day. Topics on Aging and Disability included: Accessibility, Self-Advocacy, Assistive Technology, Transportation, Emergency Preparedness, Cultural Competency, Mental Health, Disability Rights and more. The Hilton in San Bernardino was a great venue for everyone to enjoy, from the delicious meals to the hospitality, everyone provided great feedback.
